Plan China yourself. We'll make sure you're not guessing.

VisitChinaHelp is an independent travel-information and planning service for people who want to see China on their own terms - without a tour group, and without spending weeks piecing together conflicting advice.

What we believe

Zero commission

We never take money from bookings, hotels, or platforms. Our only income is the fee you see, so no recommendation has a hidden sponsor.

Sources first, with check dates

Visa rules, ticket prices and opening hours change fast in China. Wherever it matters, we link the official source and say when we last checked it.

Honest trade-offs, not glossy lists

We would rather tell you which city to skip than call everything a must-see. Every recommendation comes with the alternative and the reason.

Reachable while you travel

Questions don't only happen at your desk. During China daytime hours we are reachable, and Concierge clients get a named, Chinese-speaking person on WhatsApp.

How we help

Four services, each going one level deeper than the last:

  • Trip Compass - a one-hour talk and a written brief to point your trip in the right direction.
  • Arrival Kit - the practical playbook for your first 72 hours: payments, SIM cards, getting around.
  • Trip Preparation - a full day-by-day itinerary built around your dates and interests.
  • On-Trip Concierge - a named, Chinese-speaking helper on call from arrival to departure.

How we work

  1. We start from your trip. Your dates, pace, budget, who is travelling and what you actually care about shape everything else.
  2. We research what is hard to work out from abroad. Current rules, realistic timings, and the details that only make sense once someone reads them in Chinese.
  3. We compare before we commit. You see the trade-offs and the alternatives before anything is built out in detail.
  4. A person stays responsible. We use tools to search and organise faster, but every recommendation - and the final delivery - is made and checked by a person.

Where we stop

Being clear about the boundary is part of the service:

  • We are not a travel agency - we don't sell or book tickets, hotels, or tours.
  • We are not affiliated with any government or embassy, and we can't promise visa or entry outcomes.
  • We take no commission from bookings, hotels, or platforms.
  • Where an official source exists, we link it - so you can always double-check us.
